Terms and Conditions

1) Delivery:

We normally only deliver to the UK mainland. If you require a delivery elsewhere in the world, please contact us for a quote for the delivery charge. Expatriates should note that we only trade in Sterling. Please refer to our 'Contact Us' section and discuss your delivery needs before placing any orders. For information, please note that however many items you purchase from our shop, whether it be 1 or 101, you will only pay ONE x £5.00 Delivery Fee, which is not refundable in the event of a return.

Customer returns -
When you do return product we recommend that you obtain proof of postage from the Post Office as we are unable to take responsibility for packages lost in post. Your statutory rights in relation to returns and refunds are not affected.

2) Prices:

We will endeavour to hold the prices as shown on this website. However Continental Wigs explicitly retains the right at any time to revise prices to take account of any increase in costs, including the increase or imposition of any tax, duty or other levy and variation in exchange rates. We will take all reasonable steps to inform you of any relevant revision of prices at the time of confirmation of your order. Unless otherwise stated, the price quoted will include VAT and any other tax or duty payable.

3) Payments:

Payment must be made in full prior to dispatch of any order. We accept payment by credit card (we currently accept VISA, ACCESS/ MASTERCARD, SWITCH and debit cards). We only accept cheques to enable additional costs to be paid such as additional delivery costs to non UK Mainland delivery addresses, which as previously stated would need to have been agreed prior to despatch. If this occurs the goods will then only be dispatched after confirmation from our bank that your cheque has cleared.

4) Legal Liability:

Continental Wigs liability to you whether for breach of contract, negligence, misrepresentation or otherwise shall in no circumstance exceed the price charged to you for the defective, damaged or undelivered goods which give rise to such liability. Continental Wigs shall have no liability for any indirect or consequential losses or expenses suffered by you, howsoever caused.

5) Registered Office:

Continental Wigs is the trading name for Waterglow Ltd. The Registered Office of Waterglow Ltd is at; Shelford House, Valley Lane, Bitteswell, Leicestershire, LE17 4SA

6) This agreement shall be governed by English law.

7) Continental Wigs aims to provide our customers with 100% satisfaction. If you are not entirely happy with the goods purchased from the Company, please inform us within 7 days of the purchase on +44(0)1455 559679.

8) Continental Wigs will not accept returned wigs, hairpieces or extensions which have been worn, styled, cut, are not in original condition or smell of perfume or smoke.

9) Continental Wigs aims to deliver your wig or hairpiece within 21 days of your order.

10) Special Offers:

During our limited time Sales, Continental Wigs will refund to your card any discount offered within 3 days of your purchase transaction if the price has not been individually reduced for the item concerned.. We may also offer individual products listed as 'Special Offers' on our Home Page which are not governed by the terms of any other Sale Offer and are separate from it.

11) Privacy Policy:

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

We may e-mail you in the future unless you have specifically instructed us not to.

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a 'cookie' which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
